  • People with a drug or alcohol problems,

BSA CARE LTD with respect to (Domiciliary Care Agency) specializes in the recruitment and supply of the following Healthcare professionals:

  • Home Care Assistant
  • Domestic cleaners
  • Support Workers Learning Disabilities
  • Support Workers Mental Health.
  • People with a terminal illness,
  • We can provide support in a number of ways:
  • Shopping
  • Personal care
  • Domestic help
  • Support in budgeting, applying for benefits
  • Liaising with external agencies
  • Organise access to other professionals
  • Help in accessing the local community facilities
  • Learning essential life skills, basic cooking safety and food preparation
  • Ensuring cleaning and safety of the home
  • Prompting of Medication
  • Laundry services
  • Hospital discharge service
  • Skills development

The services provided will include, but are not confined to:

  • Assisting the service user to get up or go to bed.
  • Washing, bathing, hair care, denture and mouth care hand and fingernail care, foot care (but nothing which requires a state registered podiatrist).
  • Assisting the user with:
  • Dressing and undressing;
  • Toileting, including necessary cleaning and safe disposal of waste;
  • Eating and drinking, including associated kitchen cleaning and hygiene;
  • Escorting to, hospital appointments, etc.;
  • Shopping and handling money, including accompanying the user to the shops;
  • Dealing with correspondence;
  • Prompting the service user to take medication which has been prescribed to them;

Cleaning the home where the need for this is identified within the service user’s personal care plan. This may include: vacuuming, sweeping, washing up, polishing, cleaning floors and windows, bathrooms, kitchens, toilets etc. using appropriate domestic equipment and appliances:

  • Tidying the home;
  • Making the bed and changing the bed linen
  • Lighting fires, boilers etc.
  • Disposing of household and personal rubbish;
  • Cleaning areas used or fouled by pets; arranging their feeding, exercising and grooming;
  • Assisting with the household emergencies including liaison with local contractors
  • Assisting the service user with food or drink preparation;
  • Shopping, collection pensions, benefits or prescriptions, paying bills, or other simple errands.

These may comprise of one or more components as part of a personal care package:

  • Laundering clothes and household linen (Including soiled linen) using either the service user’s own equipment or a laundrette according to the service user’s choice; hand washing; airing, drying, ironing, storage, and mending.
  • This service includes collecting, sorting, sluicing, laundering, drying, folding, ironing and returning of laundry in clean bags to the user’s home or other specified point ( within agreed timescales). The service includes the provision of all laundry bags, equipment and labour.

BSA Care ensures:

  • Service users are assisted to make informed choices.
  • Systems for ordering goods are in places that are easy to use.
  • The service promotes choices of branded and fresh goods, and can provide for people with special dietary needs or cultural requirements.
  • The total cost of orders is advices to Service Users before the order is confirmed.
  • Delivery is within a specified period of the time agreed with the service user.
  • Goods delivered are fresh and in good condition; frozen goods are frozen, and chilled goods cold, throughout the purchase and delivery period.
  • Frozen the chilled goods are unpacked and stored to the service user’s are satisfaction if required.
  • Itemised receipts are supplied, and methods of payment for the goods are agreed with each service user.

HOSPITAL DISCHARGE SERVICES:

To provide a Home Care Service at short notice in order to facilitate time of transfer of Service Users from acute hospital beds.

To work closely with other professionals meet the needs of patients, including patients with MRSA, those who are homeless and those who have drug and alcohol issues.

To respond at short notice in case of emergencies.

To provide a seven day a week service including Bank Holidays and Our of Hours, between 17.00 hours and 09.00 hours.

Seek to assist the Service User to develop or maintain their own skills in any of the areas covered in this specification or those specified as part of an individual’s package of care. Staff will support them to carry out tasks for themselves with prompts and encouragements.

All service users will be provided with the BSA CARE LTD terms and conditions in respect of the services to be provided to them, including as to the amount and method of payment of fees (please see the terms and conditions attached).
